Statutory Medical Examinations

Pre-employment medical examination or health screening for foreign workers and foreign domestic helpers (FDW)/ maids are required in Singapore before their work permits are issued. Work Permits will only be issued if they pass the medical examination or health screening. Otherwise, they cannot commence work and will have to be sent home. This ensures that workers are medically fit to work in Singapore.

Our medical examinations and health screening for Foreign Worker include, but are not limited to:

  • MOM Work permit application (New application / Renewal)
  • Employment pass (EP)
  • Dependent pass
  • S-pass

Households have to send their maid for FDW medical checkup every six months (6ME) and test results must be certified by a Singapore-registered doctor. Our medical examinations and health screening for Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) / Domestic Helpers/ Maids include, but are not limited to:

  • Ministry of Manpower maid employment medical check-up
  • Six-monthly medical examination (6ME)
  • Pregnancy
  • 4 types of infectious disease (tuberculosis, HIV, syphilis and malaria)
