Travellers taking ART as part of the Covid-19 Pre-Departure Testing are responsible for ensuring that the pre-departure appointment is within the testing window that is in line with your destination country’s requirement. How do I arrange for an ART?

1) Book An Appointment
Before making any trip to the clinic, please make an appointment that fits your required testing window.

2) Arrive For Your Appointment
Please bring along the following documents if you are doing an ART as part of Pre-Departure Testing: a copy of the booking reference indicating date and time of flight, and Passport or Identity Card.
Please arrive 15-30 minutes before your appointment.

3) Collection Of Test Results
The ART results will be ready for collection within 30 minutes.

Both Antigen Rapid Test (ART) and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Swab Test are nasal swabbings to diagnose COVID-19.
Serology Test is a blood test that can detect if a person has antibodies to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. COVID-19 antibody tests can help identify people who may have been infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus or have recovered from the COVID-19 infection.
ART is commonly used for pre-event testing. Some countries may allow travellers to use ART as a form of Pre-Departure Testing, subject to your destination country’s requirement.
Travellers are advised to check their respective destination country, embassy and or airlines’ websites for information on the types of Pre-Departure Tests required.
The cost of Antigen Rapid Test (ART) is $38 (inclusive of GST) effective on 1 Dec 2021 onwards.
A certificate from Patient Risk Profile Portal (PRPP) will be provided that shows that you have tested negative. This will be valid for 24 hours from the time of test.
If your Antigen Rapid Test (ART) result turned out inconclusive, a repeat test will be conducted on the spot.
If your repeat test results still turned out inconclusive, a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Swab Test will be conducted on the spot.
You will be self-isolated immediately and a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Swab Test will be conducted on the spot.

You should schedule your swab test at least 2 days (48 hours) or 3 days (72 hours) prior to your flight departure, depending on requirements set out by your destination country.

2) Arrive For Your Appointment
Please bring along the following documents: a copy of the booking reference indicating date and time of flight, and Passport or Identity Card.
Please arrive 15-30 minutes before your appointment.

3) Collection Of Test Results
Once the result is ready, you will receive the notarized copy via email.

Yes, there is but it depends on the requirements of your destination country. Usually, the testing window is at least 48 or 72 hours prior to flight.
The cost of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Swab Test is $135 (inclusive of GST). If Serology Test is required, the cost is $59 (inclusive of GST). Some countries, may require you to have both PCR Swab Test and Serology Test. Should you need both PCR Swab Test and Serology Test on the same visit, the total cost for the 2 tests will be $180.00 (inclusive of GST). Rates reflected are effective from 22 November 2021.
There will be no consultation fees or additional charges for the service.
However, if you are consulting for other medical conditions, you will be billed accordingly. Please note that the cost of the PCR Swab Test and Serology Test cannot be billed to your corporate plan or policy.
As part of our protocol, the clinic has to verify the NRIC and Passport as these details need to be reflected in the results memo. The local address and handphone number are required to facilitate contact tracing in the event that the test result shows positive. When the results are ready, you will receive the notarized copy via email.

My Family Clinic works with authorised laboratory partners appointed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) for Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Swab Test. There is a possibility that delays will occur in the transport and processing of specimen as well as in conveyance of results.
If the results cannot be furnished within 4 hours of your departure due to exingencies of service on the part of My Family Clinic and/or our laboratory partners, you will be refunded the full cost of the test.
My Family Clinic and/or the partner laboratories shall not be held responsible or liable in any way for any claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs or liabilities whatsoever (including, without limitation, any direct or indirect damages for costs, loss of income, revenue or profits, business interruption) resulting or arising directly or indirectly from your use of our test services.
At the point of registration, our clinic staff will share with you the T&Cs of our PCR Swab Test for your review and acceptance before we proceed with the test.
If your Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Test result turned out positive, we will contact you directly to make arrangements for urgent referral to NCID. There will be no memo of fitness to travel issued.
